Argon flow meters are built to provide accurate readings under a variety of conditions. Mass coriolis units are the designs most commonly used by engineers whose systems rely on gases.
Unlike turbine designs, mass coriolis flow meters do not have any moving parts or hydraulics that could inhibit the flow of argon or another substance. These devices are available in several configurations, which can support flows of up to 60,000 kg/h.
Argon flow meters can be used with either local or remote monitoring equipment. The output of these devices can show flow, density and temperature of the gas. Local monitoring equipment is explosion-proof for use in hazardous environments. Remote equipment is fully programmable and can show rate limits or total output in real time.
Argon meters also provide accuracy of up to plus-or-minus 0.25 percent. Since these devices do not have any moving parts, they can be easily cleaned or flushed. These meters feature 316 stainless steel tubes, which are designed to handle a variety of materials in addition to Argon.
AW Lake Company manufactures a wide range of flow meters and control devices for industrial and hydraulic applications. It also provides full installation and maintenance support and can help engineers find the right products for their needs.
