Flow Transmitter

Flow transmitters take fluid readings in many different types of processes. Units are pre-calibrated and include many other features that make installation and use practical.

All flow transmitters are calibrated before they are shipped. These units provide a visual reading in addition to an analog output. Unlike other flow meters, the transmitters do not require straight piping on either end of their connections. This design consideration means that the units can effectively be used in many different types of batch processes.

Flow Transmitters Are Resistant

Weather-tight sealing is essential for an effective flow transmitter. This casing means that a unit can be used to measure fluids in a system with outdoor piping. This seal is also important in processes that require wash downs, such as those in the food industry.

Units are available in stainless steel, brass and aluminum construction, so that they can be used in systems that have certain material requirements. Stainless steel construction can handle increased fluid pressure and is accurate for readings up to 6,000 PSI.

Digital flow meters and analog conversion devices are also available for systems with specific output needs. While each flow transmitter provides a visual reading, a remote-monitoring setup gives engineers more options for following the system.
