Water Flowmeter

Different processes call for different types of water flow meters. The liquid may be used in diverse applications, such as coolant in a steady-state process or as a sanitary aid in a pharmaceutical batch system.

Most water flow meters use turbine designs. As the liquid moves through the pipe, it spins a turbine whose rate is measured to calculate the flow. While the basic design remains the same, there are some changes that are made, so that water can be measured in high speed, high pressure or sanitary conditions.
